The Season of Giving
He was joined by Kaitlyn and Brendan Welch for the drop off, and all were welcomed with a tour of the facility. What a great environment they have created for the families who are dealing with a sick child at the local hospitals.
Merry Christmas!
After a year of attending and volunteering at Elevation Church, we now see the difference between "keeping up with the jones'", and living a life of humility and sacrifice. Every day is another step in our walk with Jesus Christ. We are excited about the 2,200 new salvations at our church, knowing they are all walking in broken, and leaving with a new perspective on life. The Timeless Christmas sermon was a moving experience about the dividing lines in our lives, inspiring many to make this important, spontaneous decision!
Of course, Christmas is also about the magic of Santa! Liam was excited about the mountain of presents under the tree this year. Before the day started, he said he wasn't sure what Santa could bring since he already have everything he wanted. However, he was quoted as saying, "I guess Santa knows me better than I know me", after opening his gifts this year.
We are so grateful for the opportunity provide Liam with the gifts he wants the most, but most important, blessed with good health and a prosperous year.
We hope you all have a very blessed and merry Christmas!

Another win for Blackpool!
Blackpool has another decisive win over their opponent with a 9-0 lead. The team plays exceptionally well together, and makes plays happen by sharing the ball. Liam scored two goals and had several more attempts against a tough defense. We continue to hear great things from his coaches about his sportsmanship and how he takes coaching feedback.

Black Pool Soccer
A new season has started, and Liam is now playing at the Strikers Soccer Center in Huntersville, NC. He is playing at a very competitive level and really made an impact on both ends of the field in his first game today. He made several saves in goal, and scored a goal in the final 3 minutes to give his team a 4-1 lead over their competitor. We are extremely proud of his athletic ability, good sportsmanship, and great effort to practice.

Our 3rd Grader
Can you believe it? Our boy is in 3rd Grade! We are so grateful to our pastor, Larry Brey, for praying with him the weekend before school started, and amazed how God is moving in Liam's life. He is off to a great start for the school year, and we believe the best is yet to come!

Liam Baptism
Jesus said,“‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these’” (Matthew 19:14)
Liam says he was inspired by David to get baptized. This is a profound thing to ask for when you are eight years old, but there is no doubt he has started his journey with a clear understanding of his relationship with Christ. When the opportunity came available for kids baptisms, there was no question he was ready to make the decision to go public with his faith.
Over the past 6 months, Liam has really bonded with our campus pastor, Larry Brey. They share the common bond of the initials LB, but the relationship goes much deeper. We are so happy to be a part of the Elevation Church family at the University Campus. Congratulations Liam!

David Baptism
“As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him” (Matthew 3:13-16).
There is no question our lives have been transformed since we started at Elevation Church. Since our first experience on Christmas Eve, we have become volunteers and get involved every way we can. On June 10, David decided to rededicate his life to following Christ. Elevation Church offered a special baptism at the University YMCA pool for volunteers at the campus.
