Getting the most out of summer...

 

We made several visits to the Chimney Rock State Park and the Chimney Rock Village. Nothing like a refreshing hike to the Hickory Nut Falls!

Kindergarten Award Ceremony

Congratulations to Liam for his awards! He received certificates for Art, Reading, and Citizen of the Month. We are very proud of him for all of his accomplishments. Next stop...1st grade!

Welcome Jax!

Welcome Jax to the family! We adopted him from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Control while they were holing an event at the US National Whitewater Center.

Bobcats Fans!

After the game against the New Orleans Hornets last night, we were invited to meet the Bobcats team in the tunnel. Liam was thrilled to meet some of his favorite players and get autographs on a sign we picked up in the team store earlier. We were fortunate to meet Raymond Felton, Boris Diaw, DJ Augistin, Alexis Ajinca, Derrick Brown, Gerald Henderson, and Gana Diop. Thanks to the Bobcats Season Ticket Service for putting it all together. We continue to enjoy the games and hope we can sign of for seats again next year!

Basketball 2009-2010

Liam has been playing extremely well in his basketball games! After a few weeks of practice, the Mount Holly Hawks played back-to-back games on Friday night and Saturday morning. Liam scored 12 points and 18 points at the Guard position for the team. He is doing a terrific job at both ends of the court playing strong defense, and making jump shots all over the place. We are excited for him and couldn't be more proud!

Christmas 2009

It was a quiet, relaxing Christmas this year. As tradition holds true, we spent Christmas Eve at Mom Mom's house enjoying Italian cuisine, and a massive pile of gifts to unwrap. Christmas morning was magic as ever, and Liam was most excited that he received everything he asked for, including golf clubs, a Panthers helmet, and an indoor basketball hoop. Thanks to all of the grandparents and friends who also sent gifts and cheer this year.

Liam's 6th Birthday Party

Liam's birthday party was at the Textile Lanes bowling alley in Belmont, NC. We had a great gathering of friends to celebrate his 6th birthday.
