Mast General Store

No visit to the mountains is complete without a visit to the Mast General Store in Valle Crucis, NC. Lots of good deals for mom and dad, a bag full of loose candy for Liam, and vintage root beer in glass bottles for everyone.

Hawksnest Tubing

We had an incredible time at the Hawksnest Resort tubing today. Liam was a little nervous at first, but that quickly subsided after our first run.





We managed to create an illegal video with Liam holding the camera on a run down the back slopes.

Best run of the day, according to Liam, was with mommy because they almost flipped on the way down. I think Stacy had a different opinion.

Deep Freeze in the South!

 

It is turing out to be quite a winter in North Carolina. 6 inches of snow, 1/4 inch of ice, and 3 snow days off of school!

White Christmas!

 

We never imagined a "White Christmas" in Charlotte! We had to work with what we had and built a child-sized snowman.

Don't Mess with the Birthday Boy!

 

Liam had his birthday party at the Charlotte Sport Center with friends and family. Of course, he chose his favorite activities, soccer and basketball. Beware of the Air Jordans!

Birthday with the Bobcats

 

Liam celebrated his 7th birthday at the Charlotte Bobcats game with his cousins. He was very excited to see his name on the big screen announcing his birthday to the crowd!
